If your car is modern it will probably have jacking points. You need to know the distance between jacking points to get the correct Kwik Lift Model.
Refer to the car’s manual where they should be images indicating their location.
Measure the centre to centre distance between the jacking points and identify a suitable Kwik Lift using our comparison table.
You will need to measure the distance between the front and back tyres and check that the Kwik Lift will slide under the car.
You will need to lift the car from sills sometimes called pinch welds or the chassis. Then choose a lift that will give you the best lifting point range.
Some vehicles just have chassis and some cars do not have jacking points so that’s why the term lifting point range is used.
There are extensions E4G 301 that can be used with the E4G KL2500 or E4G KL3500 to provide a longer jacking point range.
The height of the Kwik Lift increases so you will need to make sure it slides under the car.
